EJ Water CooperativeEJ Water Cooperative, Inc. produces and distributes water to 5300 users in Effingham, Jasper, Cumberland, Clay, Fayette and Richland Counties in Illinois. In addition, EJ Water serves the Villages of Watson, Edgewood, Clay City and the City of Louisville. EJ has interconnected with the City of Effingham, City of Newton, Hardinville Water Company and the Village of Dieterich. The distribution system consists of over 1200 niles of 4" - 10" PVC watermain. Milano & Grunloh has provided engineering reports, feasibility studies, preliminary engineering studies, design engineering and construction inspection for EJ Water Cooperative. |

Lake Sara Water Cooperative, Inc.Growth of the Lake Sara area demanded that a new 400,000 gallon water tower replace the existing 40,000 gallon tank. Construction of the tower began in December of 1997, and was completed in December of 1998, at a cost of $500,000. This tower now serves over 1,000 rural customers in eight square miles in Effingham County. Milano & Grunloh provided the design, permitting, construction guidance, resident engineering and inspection for this project. |
